During the Tesla Semi reveal, Elon Musk showed an image of a large pickup truck carrying a smaller pickup in the back. This image actually revealed 3 Tesla products.
The Tesla pickup shown is a versatile design based off of the Tesla Semi. A closer examination reveals some tantalizing possibilities allowing a cohesive and efficient use of a single design for entry into several products and markets.
The first and most obvious step is to scale down the Tesla Semi and use that as the design for the Tesla Pickup.
The second option is to use the front end or cab of the large pickup as a base for an electric bus. This could be configured into either a tour bus or school bus.
The third option is to use the front end or cab of the large pickup for an electric RV/camper.
Both the bus and the RV versions would utilize the Tesla Mega Charger networks.
