Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence or AI can be a positive tool for humanity or, if developed poorly, it can wipe our species off the face of the Earth. There really is no in between. Just as a hammer can be used to build a house or be wielded as a weapon, AI will be the most definitive technology ever developed.

Elon Musk, one of the most successful entrepreneurs in a century and Stephen Hawking, extraordinary physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the University of Cambridge, have both warned viscerally about the dangers of AI.

Is Artificial Intelligence really necessary at all? Do we want to rely on a machine to do our thinking and in so doing, lay out a future of dependency on unfeeling, soulless machines instead of using and expanding our understanding of our own minds?
